The New York Battery and Energy Storage Technology (NY-BEST™) Consortium is a highly regarded non-profit industry trade organization created in 2010 to position New York State as a global leader in batteries and energy storage. NY-BEST currently has more than 180 member companies encompassing global leaders in energy storage, manufacturers, academic institutions, utilities, technology and materials developers, start-ups, government entities, engineering firms, systems integrators, and end-users.

The NY-BEST staff team provides expertise and assistance to companies that are interested in deploying energy storage and growing their businesses in New York State.  We are knowledgeable in the State’s markets, policies, funding streams, and resources related to energy storage, as well as in helping companies to navigate the market and policy landscape. NY-BEST also works to educate and inform decision makers overseeing NY’s energy storage policies, regulations, and market rules.
