Christina Lampe-Onnerud is the CEO and Founder of Cadenza Innovation, Inc., a transformational start–up technology company developing a disruptive, high–performance, low–cost, safe Lithium–Ion battery for the electric drive and grid energy storage markets. Cadenza completed in 2017 a project award under NYSERDA’s Advanced Clean Power Programs entitled High Capacity and Low-Cost Lithium-ion Cell for Peak Energy Demand. A corporate strategist with extensive C–suite experience in building technology–based businesses from inception to rapid revenue growth, Lampe-Onnerud is widely acknowledged in the global energy storage industry for her innovative and technologically pioneering work.
Lampe-Onnerud previously created and served as CEO of Boston–Power, an innovative energy storage company with 150+ patents filed and global operations. Before that she was a principal at the Arthur D. Little consulting firm and ran the world’s largest independent testing laboratory. Lampe-Onnerud was recognized as a World Economic Forum Technology Pioneer in 2010. Lampe-Onnerud holds a Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry from Uppsala University, Sweden and conducted post–doctoral work at MIT where she now serves on the Chemistry Department Visiting Committee.
