Energy Storage Industry Director
Greg leads Enel North America’s Regulatory Affairs team for the Eastern half of the United States, with management responsibilities covering all states and ISOs in this region. Enel’s presence in North America includes but is not limited to Enel Green Power, with over 5 GW of renewable hydropower, wind, geothermal and solar energy, and Enel X, with over 4.6 GW of demand response capacity, over 20 behind-the-meter storage projects and an e-Mobility offering that has deployed 42,000 charging stations across its footprint. During his nearly ten years at what was EnerNOC and now Enel, Greg has successfully championed policies and regulatory constructs that are enabling a transition to a cleaner, more efficient, and more resilient electric grid. Greg was proud to play a lead role in EnerNOC’s successful effort at the US Supreme Court to preserve the vital role of demand response and Distributed Energy Resources in wholesale markets. Before joining EnerNOC in 2010, Greg received his MBA from Boston University. His previous work included serving as a Campaign Manager, Legislative Director, and Deputy Chief of Staff for a member of the New York City Council. Greg has a BA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and lives with his wife and two sons in the Boston area.
